A combination boiler will heat water straight from the mains as well as provide hot water for space heating (underfloor/radiators). These boilers are attractive in that there is no need for a separate cylinder for your hot water, which can free up lots of space and, of course, the water is only being heated as you need it. There is also no need for any stored cold water, so the threat of cold water tanks leaking in the loft becomes a thing of the past.
